What we do
We answer the everyday questions people have about the Aussie dollar - what a rate is right now, what it costs to send money overseas, what a currency is worth for a trip, what inflation or the cash rate is this month - and we answer them with sourced, timestamped figures and plain explanations. Every live figure carries the time it was struck, and where each family of figures comes from is set out on our methodology page.
How we’re different
Most finance sites either sell you something or tell you what to do. Tradergy does neither. It is a data reference, funded by advertising, with a deliberately simple promise: accurate figures, clearly sourced, with no advice, no forecasts, and no personal data collected. Who writes it
Explanatory guides are written and reviewed by the Tradergy editorial team and dated when reviewed. We don’t invent named “experts”. Data pages are generated from official and reputable sources and carry the strike time on the page. If something on the site is wrong, there is somebody to tell - see contact.
Our standards
- Factual, not advisory. We state values and explain processes. We never recommend a product, currency, or service. See our disclaimer.
- Sourced and dated. Every live figure is timestamped, and its source family is described on the methodology page.
- Private by design. No accounts, no forms, no personal data. Calculators run in your browser.
